For quite a while Mozilla Thunderbird has supported RSS feeds, and while the imlementation had some issues, it worked pretty well. I have however made a few changes to my working with computers the past month which made it somewhat impractical to stick with Thunderbird for RSS reading. During the day I usually work on my Mac at home, on my Linux Box at work and on my Thinkpad “on the road” (when it works) – and my RSS tracking had to move somewhere, where I could track RSS feeds no matter which machine I was using and still keep tabs on what’s new and what’s old.
The solution was naturally to move to bloglines.com for my RSS tracking, and it actually works pretty well. There seem to be a little lack on the updates, but the tracking works, the interface is clean and everything works pretty smooth.
